Long Story Short: We Don't and We Won't...
Are you worried about your personal information? So are we! We don’t and won’t spam you or sell any of your personally identifiable information to anyone, ever. Keep reading only if you’re either seriously interested in more details regarding the previous sentence or if you’re incredibly bored!
In case you’re not sure what we mean by “personally identifiable information”, it includes (but is not limited to) your name, your email address, credit card information, social security number (we don’t even know it anyway), password, telephone number or the hospital where you were born (if you figured out a way to tell us).
HOWEVER, if you are interested in purchasing one of our Dorm Deals, you will notice that you will be redirected to the Groupon.com checkout platform. Our Dorm Deals are managed by the "Groupon Gods" and to purchase a deal you will understandably be required to give your payment and personal information directly to them (we don't store or have access to any of that information) which means you may want to read their privacy policy and terms of use too. If you're still worried about giving your payment information to Groupon, odds are pretty good that you're too paranoid about identity theft to even consider buying anything online in the first place.
The majority of our FullDorm Team is comprised of recent college grads and we understand that you may be worried about your privacy, we are too. We take privacy very seriously and are doing our best to safeguard any information that we do store.
Hate Spam? Who Doesn’t? We promise not to spam you, period. We send out one email per day that generally consists of the next days Dorm Deal and all of the new content available on our site from the previous 24 hours. If you decide that you can’t handle one email from FullDorm every day, it’s really easy to disable when you are signed in to your account.
Like we said earlier, we will NEVER sell ANY of your information to ANYONE and unless we’re required by law or a school administrator personally makes a reasonable request (as stated in our terms of use), we will never just give your information out.
